in Southern Nevada wouldn't have a
hook to hang their diamond-crusted
keychains from if it weren't for the
multifaceted construction industry.
As Las Vegas rebuilds aer the linger-
ing recession, retailers and shoppers are
coming back. According to a report in
VEGAS INC, investors bought 48 shop-
ping centers last year for a combined
$485.7 million, up from $13.3 million
in 2010.
It takes teams of contractors and sub-
contractors to bring the brightest polish
to the high-end retail industry. Once
that's done, many top names in the
industry are able to extend their reach
across the globe thanks to the ground-
breaking work they accomplish here.
Las Vegas is one of the world's shiniest
cities, and we have the construction
industry to thank for keeping it gleaming.
