Naseef previously was executive vice president of Coldwell Banker Commercial. Hufford was a customer liaison at Carina Homes and Lennar Homes and a graduate of College of Southern Nevada. FirstService Residential, a Nevada com- munity management company, will provide HOA management services for the Presidio Unit-Owners' Association. The community is in Reno and is projected to consist of 606 single-family homes. The Modern at 8925 W. Flamingo Road relaunched as Park House. It includes 83 condominiums ranging from 1,200 square feet to 2,500 square feet. Dalton L. Hooks Jr. is a partner at Alver- son, Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders. He will focus on workers' compensation and OSHA matters. Hooks was formerly the chief administrative officer of the Nevada OSHA Consultation Section and former adjunct professor at UNLV. Hooks earned his juris doctorate from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2002. Incoming officers of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors include: 2015 Presi- dent Keith Lynam of Windermere Prestige Properties; President-elect Scott Beaudry, of Universal Realty Inc.; Vice President Kathryn Bovard, of Realty One Group; and Treasurer Janet Carpenter, of Signature Real Estate Group. All will take office on Jan. 1. Current GLVAR President Heidi Kasama said that local Realtors elected or re-elected to serve as directors starting in 2015 in- clude: Vandana Chima-Bhalla, of Signa- ture Real Estate Group; Omar Lopez, of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties; Brandon Roberts, of Signa- ture Real Estate Group; Krystal Sherry, of Hudson Real Estate; and Mark Sivek, of Realty One Group. Local Realtors not up for re-election who will continue serving as directors in 2015 are: Tina Africk, iProper- ties International; Thomas Blanchard, 1st Realty Group; David J. Bobbi Miracle, of Com- mercial Executives Real Estate Services, will serve as 2015 president of GLVAR's Com- mercial Alliance Las Vegas and will represent commercial real estate interests. Ronnie Schwartz, of Coldwell Banker Premier, will lead GLVAR's 2015 MLS Committee and also serve on the GLVAR board. Fisher Industries relocated to 3920 Leon Ave., Suite 2, Las Vegas. The company deals with heavy civil and heavy highway proj- ects, including large-scale civil engineering ventures. Joseph Miller is the Nevada area manager/project manager. Joseph Decker is administrator of the real estate division of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry. He assumes the position previously held by Gail Anderson, who was named deputy commissioner of the Division of Insurance. Decker most recently served as deputy commissioner for the Nevada Division of Insurance. The Hammargren Tribute Hall of Antiqui- ties is being developed at Boulevard Mall. The project pays tribute to the antiques collected by former Lt. Gov. Lonnie Ham- margren. Auctioneer Dudley Sewell will be operations manager for the project. Jess Lankford is chief administrative offi- cer of Nevada OSHA. He previously served as program coordinator. The Nevada State Contractors Board has won the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies' 2014 Innovation in Regulation Award. The award highlights the board's efforts in 2012 to partner with Home Depot and local build- ing departments to launch a kiosk system in stores, allowing contractors and consumers to purchase building permits from multiple jurisdictions at one time. Thoran Towler will join the Nevada Asso- ciation of Real- tors as general counsel. He will provide legal counsel to NVAR and oversee the legal information line operated by the as- sociation. Towler previously served as state labor commissioner for three years. Jojo Ruiz is senior job captain at EV&A Architects. He has 34 years of experience. The Federal Aviation Admin- istration awarded Nevada airports 11 FAA grants totaling $9,104,992, according to a news release from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's office. The grants will provide for necessary construction updates and equipment repairs at the Alamo Landing Field, Boulder City Municipal Airport, Reno/Stead Airport, Austin Airport, Elko Regional Airport, Wells Municipal Air- port, Eureka Airport, Mesquite Airport, Hawthorne Industrial Airport and Reno/ Tahoe International Airport. Galaxy Outdoor, a barbecue grill retailer and outdoor kitchen manufacturer, built a studio kitchen for Fox 5. Heidi Newhouse is regional real estate manager for the Las Vegas office of Sunrise Management, a San Diego-based residential real estate manage- ment firm. Newhouse previously was a regional manager for Stout Management, overseeing 13 properties and nearly 2,000 units. The Las Vegas City Council approved the city manager's selection of David Bowers as public works director. Bowers has a 27- year career as a civil engineer in structural and roadway design, construction manage- ment, contracting and team management. He has worked for the city since 2005 and will oversee the engineering, traffic and environmental divisions. Aliante Integrated Physical Medicine finished construction on 1,500 square feet of additional treatment space for physical therapy, physiotherapy, functional rehab and performance enhancement at its loca- tion at 6592 N.
